Jonathan Boulos
CEO
Jonathan Boulos is an accounting professional who combines experience as a CPA and a controller at organizations from diverse industries with a strong passion to contribute to the mission of the Church. Before joining StJFS, Jonathan helped usher Central Catholic High School through a reform of back-office operations to better utilize technology and invest more of peoples time doing the primary ministry of the school. He brings experience in communication with finance councils and boards, and he enjoys making financial statements and situations relatable to everyone. Jonathan calls Indiana home, and is active in his local community through various nonprofits, activities of his local parish, local government, and his six children’s activities.
Brenda Cannella
COO
Brenda has more than 20 years of experience in financial and leadership roles including time at a Big Four public accounting firm to begin her career, 10 years at Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), and, most recently, 5 years as CFO of the Archdiocese of Denver. She serves on numerous non-profit boards and councils and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the mission of the Church through her God given gifts of leadership and administration. Brenda holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Houston and is a CPA formerly licensed in Texas. She and her husband, Troy, are active in their parish, enjoy traveling, skiing and hiking together and with their five grown children.

Daniela Meyers
Client Service Specialist
Daniela resides in East Waterford, PA but she grew up in Abington, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. Daniela received degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from Bucks County Community College and the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science.
Daniela heard about SJFS from her son-in-law, Mark Mannerino, and was excited to join a firm with a strong mission. According to Daniela, “Being a part of this wonderful team is truly a blessing. Everyone is so supportive and caring of one another. Everyone was so welcoming when I started that I felt as though I was already a part of the team.”
In developing her goals, Daniela hopes to be able to use her accounting knowledge and skills to help relieve some of the financial burdens that our clients deal with, and to further the company’s mission. She wants to bring service to them in any way that she can.
When Daniela isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys working on crafts and being outside working in her flower beds.
Will Sharp
Client Advisor
Will Sharp resides in Raleigh, NC and studied Accounting at Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH. Will was drawn to SJFS by the team’s culture and mission. “Everyone here is so welcoming and genuine and driven towards the mission of the Church. Being able to use my personal skills to help further the Catholic Church’s mission of education and evangelization is a blessing that I did not expect to find.”
One of Will’s first projects was supporting the onboarding of the Archdiocese of Boston. According to Will, “Being part of the Boston onboarding was a tall task but became a huge success once it was finished. I was able to work with Eric to accomplish various tasks related to this process.”
When Will isn’t crunching numbers, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, watching sports, reading, and getting outdoors.

Theresa Delgado
Client Service Specialist
Theresa grew up all over the country in Tennessee, California, Texas, Michigan and Indiana. During her schooling, she traveled as an exchange student in Spain. Theresa has worked in the Catholic Schools Office and in parishes to assist families qualify for scholarships and in payables/receivables.
Theresa cites SJFS’ motto of “more time ministering and less time administering” as a core tenant of what drew her to the firm. She is impressed with the internal Culture Advancement Team and their efforts to create opportunities to build community within our diverse remote team. When Theresa is not serving clients, she enjoys gardening, crochet, traveling, and learning about natural remedies, art, and languages.

Angie Bohli

Angie has lived and worked in the diocese of Arlington, VA after graduating from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. She previously worked teaching High School Theology and in Parish Administration. Angie was drawn to SJFS because of the mission to provide much needed help to parishes across the country.
According to Angie, “I love working at SJFS. The team is supportive and kind and brings a genuine faith component to the workplace that is refreshing and uplifting.”
When Angie isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with he husband and 6 amazing kids. You can find them camping, relaxing at the beach, or at soccer and lacrosse fields.

Martha Hoover

Prior to joining SJFS, Martha was a teacher in Catholic and public schools. She recognized the tremendous need for schools to have their books in order so that the children would ultimately benefit. Furthermore, Martha believes that the trickle-down effect of sound bookkeeping extends beyond schools and into communities.
Martha appreciates that working at SJFS still affords her time to be with her family. She has found a strong work-life balance between growing her accounting skills and taking care of her 3 children.
Adelina Domanico
Diocesan Services
Adelina is originally from Bucks County, PA but ventured south to Atlanta, GA to join her sisters. She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville and studies Clinical Psychology. “Addie” was drawn to the Catholic authenticity of SJFS and how the firm is dedicated to serving Catholic education.
When she isn’t working, Addie enjoys attending baseball games (Go Phillies!), stress baking, spending time outdoors, and visiting family.

Matthew is from Wilmington, DE and graduated from Goldey Beacom College. Matthew wanted to join SJFS because he wanted to give back to the Church for all it has done for him. He looks forward to learning more about Catholic finance and to this chapter in his life.
When he’s not working, Matthew likes to go to daily mass, learn about history, follow baseball, exercise and play any type of game – from chess to ping pong.

Annie McAleer
Office Coordinator
Annie McAleer lives in the South Bend area, but grew up in Arlington Heights, IL. She attended North Park University in Chicago. After school, Annie worked for two Catholic schools in South Bend and knew that going forward she couldn’t just work anywhere. She focused her career search on Catholic organizations and discovered SJFS. According to Annie, “Being a part of the SJFS team is truly incredible! I feel so lucky to be a part of a group that is constantly inspiring in my faith.”
Annie is the engine that keeps our South Bend HQ running. Outside of work, Annie loves spending time with my family, cooking, going for a walk/run, or driving to Lake Michigan to hang around a small lake town.
Joseph Sayler
Client Advisor
Joseph Salyer is a Hoosier, born and raised in Michigan City, IN. He attended Purdue University and received a BS in Accounting. Joseph’s previous work included three years as an auditor with a regional accounting firm in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
As a Catholic accountant, Joseph wants to make sure his efforts contribute to a mission that he can get behind. “When I read the SJFS tagline ‘More time ministering. Less time administering’ I decided that’s where I wanted to work. I feel so fortunate to be able to directly contribute to the mission of our Church through my career.”
Outside of the office Joseph spends time exploring the trails and mountains in and around his home in Flagstaff, AZ. He recently walked 2,197 miles from Georgia to Maine on the Appalachian Trail. Finally, Joseph enjoys spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

Paul Evans, CPA
VP, Systems and Innovation
Paul joined SJFS because he couldn’t pass up an offer to use his accounting and technology background to serve the church in an impactful way. Prior to joining St. Joseph Financial Services, he worked at PwC for 8 years in their assurance practice, primarily in the Assurance Innovation & Technology group, where he led a team that designed and developed software audit tools for the insurance sector. Paul and his wife, Leah, have five young boys, and live in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. He enjoys gametime and waterfall hikes with the boys, and dad jokes of varying quality. Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from Franciscan University, and Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.
Geoff Turbiak
VP, Growth
Geoff joined St. JFS after a long tenure in the automotive industry to pursue his passion of service to the Church and to Catholic education. A native of southern Michigan, Geoff joined St. JFS to pursue what he called an “opportunity to combine the love of my Catholic faith in a consumer-focused, entrepreneurial manner.” Geoff enjoys spending his time away from the office with his wife and three children, and is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He received undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in Business Administration and Corporate Communications, and obtained his MBA in Marketing and Product Development from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Steve Kneier
Director of Transformation
Steve Kneier supports St. Joseph Financial Services as the Director of Transformation, working to bring modern technology to Catholic organizations across the United States. Before starting at SJFS, Steve had more than a decade of experience providing accounting operations services at accounting firms and corporations in his home state of Louisiana. Steve says that one of the best parts of working at SJFS is the opportunity to “combine my personal faith and professional life by putting my experience to work helping the Church.”
Doug Erla
People Operations Manager
Doug grew up in Michigan but has been a Hoosier for several years. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan-Flint and his master’s degree at Central Michigan University. Doug was drawn to SJFS by the mission and the people of the organization. His personal goals while at SJFS are to help the team-at-large grow and develop wherever they may be — attract new talent to our team, help implement value-added process improvements while contributing to a great culture. In his free time, Doug enjoys participating in parish activities, supporting his lay apostolate and simply being outdoors. Going to the beaches of Lake Michigan in the spring and summer is also a favorite location.
Mark Mannerino
Client Advisor – Manager
Mark is a Pittsburgh native and attended college at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. Drawn to serving the Church, Mark felt that St. Joseph Financial Services offers the unique opportunity to serve the Church in a new way – through his work. Mark worked as a Director of Finance for a Non Profit Organization before coming to SJFS, and has a passion for using his expertise to serve others. When not at work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, and over the last few years Mark has taken up homesteading: chickens, gardens, canning, and more to come!!! He also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and kayaking, and can sometimes sneak away for some pickup deck hockey at his local parish.
Olivia Walleser
Systems Implementation Specialist
Olivia grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin, but decided to venture south where she attended Troy University in Troy, Alabama. She was drawn to SJFS’ mission during her recruiting process, citing, “I’ve seen priests, schools, and ministries be held back in their ability to serve due to red tape and administrative burdens. I wanted to use my business experience to help alleviate that strain and see the Church succeed.”
Olivia describes the culture as “a breath of fresh air” with “genuine people, genuine mission and the ability to truly live your faith in the workplace.” She wants to continue the effort to build a seamless implementation process for our clients. When Olivia is not at work, her ideal day includes baking, checking out a new coffee shop, hosting a game night and fitting in a run.

Brittany joined St Joseph Financial Services in 2021 after she worked at a public accounting firm for six and a half years prior. She joined the STJFS team to work with and for other Catholics who share the same values, and to help foster a brighter financial future for Church institutions and schools. In her free time, Brittany likes to workout, hike and spend time with her family.
Adan Batres

Adan joined St JFS after seeing the accounting and administrative struggles his sister faced while managing a learning center, taking away time she could be spending with students. Originally from San Jose, California, Adan currently resides in Los Angeles and can be found at a local athletic event in his time away from the office.

Jacquelyn joined St Joseph Financial Services in 2022 after she worked in the corporate world for years prior. She is passionate about her faith and being able to work on behalf of Catholic education for clients across the United States. In her free time, Jacquelyn likes to spend time outdoors hiking and at the beach, as well as spend time with her family.

Kat was born and raised in Sunbury, Ohio and stayed close to home to attend Franciscan University. She was drawn to SJFS by the opportunity to work with a community of genuine mission–driven people, much like she had at Franciscan. In Kat’s time outside of the office she enjoys spending as much time as she can with family and friends.

Stephen Voehl

Stephen was raised in Grants Pass, OR. A former seminarian, Stephen received his MBA with the Anahuac del Sur in partnership with the Francisco de Vitoria in Spain and the MIP in Paris. He cites the mission and purpose of SJFS as the things that drew him in. “Having previously worked at a parish, I know firsthand the need for the expertise that SJFS brings to serve the Mission of the Church in each parish.
Stephen’s goals include bringing financial peace and growth to all of our clients. Outside of work, Stephen’s life is “centered on God and family.” He added, “I enjoy cooking for the family, going on walks and playing hockey.”
Favorite Saint – Blessed Chiara Badano…it changes…there are too many cool saints to just have one favorite.
Katelyn Sherman

Katelyn is originally from Oklahoma, but now calls Des Moines, IA home. A graduate of Benedictine College, Katelyn joined SJFS after working at Deloitte. “I realized that my career goals were not to climb the corporate ladder, but rather to do something meaningful for a smaller organization that shares the same values. The team is incredible. Everybody is so personable, and we are all on the same team, working for the same mission. It is refreshing to work with people who are real, vulnerable, and so passionate about serving the church and using their talents.”
According to Katelyn, “When I am not in the office, you will probably find me outside. Walking, running, hiking, tending to my garden, going to the lake, pickleball, etc. I am most fulfilled when the weather is warm, and the sun is shining, and I can move my body! I also have started canning things, making sourdough, and bottling my own kombucha!”

She was also drawn to the supportive, positive and faith filled culture at SJFS. In her free time, Elise enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family in Michigan.

Maria lives in Northern Idaho and went to college at Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, CA. Maria sees Catholic education as such an important piece in the betterment of our society, and sees working with Catholic institutions as a wonderful opportunity to support Catholic schools in a “behind-the-scenes” role. In her free time Maria enjoys hiking with her dog, reading a good book, and visiting with family and friends.
Meg Heller
Business Development Specialist
Meg was born and raised a buckeye from Columbus, Ohio, and formally took that title when she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication from the Ohio State University. She has a background in youth ministry working for the Church, and the mission of StJFS is what motivated her to join the team. When Meg is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, getting outside for a walk or hike, sipping wine – and plan her future travels to European countries.

Mary Kate Doran attended Christendom College, graduating in 2009, joining St. Joseph Financial Services to learn the ins & outs of accounting. Before joining St. Joseph Financial Services, she worked at FOCUS, the leading Catholic collegiate ministry, processing donations for 6 years on their Gift Operations team. Mary Kate resides in Colorado where she was born & raised. She plays cornhole, crochets & volunteers at her parish in her free time.

Scott Tassan
Accounts Payable Lead
Scott Tassan joined St. Joseph Financial Services in November 2019. He is a business professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience in accounting, business management, project management, as well as customer and vendor relationship management. His experience includes co-founding and managing TNT Media Productions, a video production and corporate event-staging company, as their Financial Controller and an Executive Producer for more than 10 years. Prior to joining St. Joseph Financial Services, Scott was a Staff Accountant for Confie Insurance Group Holdings, Inc., a large Insurance company with over 4,000 employees, specializing in non-standard auto insurance policies. Scott lives in Allen, TX with his wife, two daughters (19 & 13), and son (6). He enjoys participating in, and spectating for, his children’s various academic and sporting activities. In addition, Scott is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, off-roading, and primitive survival.
Megan McGrath

Megan grew up in the Chicago area and attended the University of Notre Dame. After living in Boston for a few years, Megan and her husband now reside in Chicago. She was interested in SJFS for its mission and the ability to serve Catholic schools, given her Catholic education has been instrumental in her formation.
Megan enjoys volunteering whether it is helping with faith formation, retreats, and even cooking for all the brothers and priests at her church! Additionally, Megan and her husband enjoy the Chicago restaurant scene, going outdoors, baking and reading a good book.

Joe Perry, CPA

Joe began his career in EY’s audit practice and has more recent experience with scaling controllership organizations at pre-IPO corporations. He joined SJFS because of its one-of-a-kind mission and the SJFS team’s authentic dedication to that mission. Joe grew up in California’s San Joaquin Valley and graduated from St. Mary’s College of California before earning an M.S. in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, ultimately settling in Paso Robles, CA. Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in various settings, including but not limited to the park, beach, zoo, and couch.
Nick Mannerino, CPA
Client Advisor – Manager
Nick is from the Pittsburgh, PA area and attended St. Vincent College for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. Also, Nick is a Certified Non-Profit Accounting Professional (CNAP). Prior to working at SJFS, Nick gained experience in income tax (including 990s), bookkeeping, payroll, CAS/Advisory, fractional controllership, and non-profit accounting.
Nick is passionate about making a real tangible difference in people’s lives through his work. He cites that the team at SJFS is willing to show patience and empath while providing expert service and advice. When Nick isn’t working, he enjoys time with his wife and two sons. You can find Nick learning more about local history, the Civil War, Church Apologetics, model railroading, and football.

Stephen McNulty

Stephen hails from Scranton, PA and attended Holy Cross College in South Bend, IN. According to Stephen, “What drew me to SJFS was seeing the need throughout our church for good financial reporting and stewardship, then finding the answer here at SJFS. I grew up going to good public schools but went to a Catholic College. Experiencing a radically different approach to education, it set me on a path to ensure that others have the opportunity to be taught in the light of the Catholic Church.”
Stephen’s goals include helping expand SJFS’s services to more Catholic organizations. “While SJFS is growing at an incredible pace, we have a large Church so there is more work to be done!”
In his free time, you can find Stephen watching his beloved New York Jets. Also, he enjoys “spending time with my beautiful wife watching movies, reading books, and adventuring to new places.”

Lucy Brown
Client Accounting Specialist
Lucy Brown joined the St. Joseph Financial Services team in August 2019. She has an Associate’s degree in Accounting Technology and a Computerized Bookkeeping Specialist Certification. Lucy has previous experience implementing systematic billing procedures for software and hardware.
Lucy is originally from Abilene, Texas and currently lives in San Antonio. She has two boys and loves animals, hiking, and volunteering at a local animal shelter. Additionally, she enjoys DIY projects and is an avid practitioner of yoga.
Will Connolly
Systems Analyst
Will is originally from Philadelphia, PA and is currently at Notre Dame studying Business Analytics and Political Science. He joined SJFS through the Frassati internship program that matches business students with non-profits. Will appreciates how SJFS is dedicated to collaborating with our clients and partners to reduce the amount of time spent on busywork and increase the amount of time spent on making impactful decisions by leveraging technology.
Will’s goals for his time at SJFS are to continue to develop his data management skills to deliver more wins for our team and our clients, saving time and hassle along the way. In Will’s free time he sings in the Notre Dame Liturgical Choir, serves as Finance Director of his Mars Rover competition team, and likes to hike, weightlift, write, and play volleyball.

Kimberly Kelly
Product Manager – Payroll
Kim has worked with numerous Diocesan clients over the past 10 years and brings payroll and project management expertise to her role as our Product Manager for Payroll Services. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in business administration and an emphasis on mass communication, she loves developing relationships and helping enable clients to thrive.
In her spare time, Kim is an avid reader and photographer, and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two kittens.
Shirley Yaich

Shirley Yaich is a Client Advisor joining SJFS after years of ministry in the Church. A long-time Catholic education supporter, Shirley joins SJFS after a career serving schools, parishes and chanceries. When she is not working, Shirley can be found traveling with her husband across the country, or sticking close to home in Michigan exploring the state.

Sandra Shamoun joins SJFS as a Client Advisor. She was drawn to SJFS by its offering to her of working to further Catholic education, and looks forward to being able to serve God in a different way. Sandra was the founder of local basketball league at her Parish, and in her time away from the office loves to spend time with her 3 children and enjoying new restaurants around her city.

Matthew Keller joins SJFS as a Client Advisor after his service with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS). Matthew is an avid reader, and enjoys spending time with his wife. A native of New Orleans, Matthew brings his impeccable taste in food and a love of all things baseball to the SJFS team.

Mary Stange is a native of Iowa and alumni of Franciscan University, Steubenville. Mary began her time with SJFS a Client Specialist, later assuming the role of Client Advisor where she is excited to serve clients in a new role across Catholic education. In her time outside the office, Mary enjoys spending time with her three daughters and on her podcast, “I am a Pain Patient.” She also manages a small group for women looking to challenge their mindset on health and wellness through true connection and support.

Eric lives in Newtown, CT and joined St. Joseph Financial Services in 2023. Eric has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, and a Master in Business Administration degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Prior to joining SJFS, Eric worked in the accounting field for eight years within the public accounting and financial services industries. Eric is passionate about serving Catholic parishes, schools, and organizations by providing them with quality accounting and advisory services. When Eric is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. You can find them traveling, hiking, playing tennis and pickleball.
Michelle Molina

Michelle was born, raised and currently resides in South Bend, IN. She majored in Accounting at Ivy Tech University.
