Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the St. JFS leadership team, Geoff Turbiak! Geoff joins us as the new Director of Marketing and Experience at St. JFS, bringing experience from the automotive industry and a passion for the Catholic Church.

Where are you from, and where did you go to college?
I grew up and live in Livonia, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. I received undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in Business Administration and Corporate Communications. I obtained my MBA in Marketing and Product Development from the University of Detroit Mercy.
What drew you to StJFS? What made you want to join the team and work to further Catholic education?
I was fortunate to have participated in Catholic education most of my life. And, I was always the entrepreneurial kid selling Kool-Aid, or putting on neighborhood talent shows, to earn baseball card money. Given the opportunity to combine the love of my Catholic faith in a consumer-focused, entrepreneurial manner, is a perfect opportunity to grow in both domains.
What’s a big “win” you’ve been involved with that has had an impact on a parish, Diocese, or Catholic school?
In 2016 I founded a men’s group called “Fishers of Men” to meet men where they are at and increase their faith on their journey. We meet on Saturday mornings for 1 hour in prayer, study, and fellowship. On the first Saturday of the month, we gather at a restaurant for breakfast. We have over 40 men on our participant list and men are welcome to attend when they can.
What is it like being part of the StJFS team? How would you describe the culture and people you work with?
It is refreshing to be on a team where I can be my true self in mission with the Catholic Church. I look forward to getting to know the team better, and learn how I can serve them so we, and our clients, are successful.
What are your goals for your time at StJFS?
My goals include gaining a deep knowledge of our clients’ needs, processes, and pain points so that we at StJFS can serve their needs with products and services that save clients time and money. Additionally, I want to facilitate getting our marketing message out to the right people so they are aware that we can assist them.
What do you do in your time away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 children playing outside at parks, and having our Sunday Family Movie Nights. Additionally, I’m a member of the Knights of Columbus and I enjoy golfing.
